Title: How…?
Author:
hawkeyecat
Fandom: Law & Order: The Original Series/Harry Potter
Characters: Lennie Briscoe, Ed Green, Nymphadora Tonks
Prompt: 097. Writer’s Choice
Community: crossovers100
Word Count: 108
Rating: Everyone
Disclaimer: Last season, I gladly would have stolen the show from Dick Wolf. Now he’s shaping up. J.K., however, needs to realize that Sues are not cool. (They are, however, nifty in fic.)
Author's Notes: I have what some may call a “bad habit” of using my Friends list. I say it gets them fic. This prompt was chosen by
amazonqueenkate. My thanks, as always, to
sarcasticsra for the beta.
Ed stared down at the corpse on the floor. “This is just freaky.”
“Oh, c’mon, Ed. It’s a girl with multi-colored hair and facial features from every race. You act like you’ve never seen anyone with…” Lennie squatted to better inspect her face. “A nose that looks like it belongs to one of those Vietnamese hookers, cheekbones that belong on Katherine Hepburn, lips from that dealer we collared yesterday on the shooting, and…” He paused. Were his eyes playing tricks on him?
“And?” Ed prompted. “She can’t get much weirder-lookin’.”
“If those aren’t contacts, she can.”
“Huh?” Ed, too, squatted, squinting at her face. “Are her eyes purple?”
